A New Species of the Genus Elasmocylidrus Corporaal, 1939 (Cleridae: Tillinae) from Japan, with New Records of Elasmocylidrus tricolor

Elasmocylidrus takedaorum sp. nov. is described from Japan, and E. tricolor (Corporaal, 1926) is newly recorded from Laos, China, and Thailand.The monotypic genus Elasmocylidrus Corporaal, 1939 (Cleridae, Tillinae) was erected for Cylidrus tricolor Corporaal, 1926. Until now, the single species of the genus, E. tricolor was known from India and Myanmar (Corporaal, 1926; Faisal et al., 2014).Recently, an undescribed species of the genus was collected from Japan, and specimens of E. tricolor were obtained from Laos, China, and Thailand. In this paper, we describe a new species from Japan, and present new country records for E. tricolor.
