Nurture Landscapes has grown to a £69m-turn-over company with 17 acquisitions under its belt in just 10 years. "When we set up Nurture we didn't want to be in the public sector market," says founder and managing director Peter Fane. "There were lotsof very large players and very few players focused on the corporate sector."This proved to be a wise move — 2008 was the beginning of the recession and before the Government's local authority austerity drive. However, the market had become dominated by large, one-stop shops such as ISS and Mitie.
