Workplace relations mechanisms in Ireland 2017

While the speed of legislative changes within the area of employment law and industrial relations slowed considerably during the recessionary years, 2015 saw the passing and enacting of a major piece of Irish legislation in the form of the Workplace Relations Act 2015. This Act completely revises the workplace resolution, mediation, adjudication and enforcement mechanisms available in the State, with a view to making increased efficiencies, cost savings and simplifications of the referral process.
