Premium Low-Vol hard coking coal prices rose by around $8/mt since the start of February to $158.25/mt by February 18, on curtailed Mongolian and domestic coking coal supply. Despite China's central government urging mines and companies to resume operations, market sources remained skeptical that the situation would improve in the short-term.
