Adoption gap in recommended potato production technology among the potato growers.

The present study was conducted in Morar block of Gwalior district. In the present investigation, variables like age, education, size of land holding, social participation, socio-economic status, extension contact, annual income and cosmopoliteness were considered as farmers' attributes and major practices like improved variety, preparation of land, sowing time and method, spacing, manures and fertilizers, irrigation and drainage, inter-culture operation, weed control, plant protection measures, threshing and winnowing and storage method of potato were selected for the study. The overall adoption gap of the respondents regarding recommended production technologies was found 54.29%. The gap for various technologies ranged from 42.22 to 69.30%.
