Mexican business group laments country's new food-labeling regulation

The Mexican Business Coordinating Council says it disapproves of changes to the country's food-labeling standards that will require front-of-package labels for prepackaged food and non-alcoholic beverages. The regulation was approved by Mexico's National Advisory Committee for Standardization of User Security, Commercial Information and Trade Practices on Friday, despite concerns raised by industry groups and other countries, including the U.S.
