Saudi Arabia approves VAT agreement, steel sector to be affected in long term

The Saudi Cabinet has approved a unified agreement for value added tax, which will also be implemented in other GCC countries starting next year. The measure will definitely affect the economy as well as the steel sector of the Kingdom. The effect, however, is not expected to be significant in the short-term outlook.
