Australian coking coal exporters managed to increase prices slightly amid sustainable demand from India, while Chinese customers continued to book US material. Export prices for Australian premium hard coking coal rose by $2?3/t to $103?105/t FOB from the two-week ago level. Though insiders do not expect a strong price rebound until Chinese customers resume purchases from Australia, the raw material tags improved a little, since Indian buyers continued to show firm demand.
