Charge transfer reactions at the liquid/liquid interface

An electrochemical steup without a working clectrode will lookstrange to the traditional electrochemist, nevertheless several laboratorics are doing just that by rumming their experiments at the interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions (ITIES). Morcover, there is a growing literature that shows thatthiscan be a valuable technique (1-4). In this report, we will survey several applications of charge transfer (CT) processes at the ITIES and demonstrate why this method should be of interest to analytical chemists.
