Brazil may ease auction terms to lure oil investments

Rio de Janeiro-Brazil’s National Petroleum Agency, or ANP, is studying changes to exploration and production concession contracts to lure oil company investments back to Brazil, the regulator’s director said last week. Speaking on the sidelines of an ANP event, Director Magda Chambriard said the regulator was evaluating “in what ways we can remove certain barriers because of this scenario of low oil prices.”
