Axion receives loan to expand Argentina refinery

Argentina’s Axion Energy has secured a loan for $73.1 million from a consortium of European banks to help finance the expansion of processing and production capacity at its oil refinery in Campana, Argentina, the company said. The funds from the seven-year loan will be transferred to the company gradually over this year and next Axion said in a filing with the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange Tuesday.
