Vung Ro refinery build to start early 2015

Hanoi—UK-based Technostar Management’s Vietnamese unit Vung Ro Petroleum plans to begin construction of a 160,658 b/d refinery in the central province of Phu Yen by early 2015, a senior Vung Ro Petroleum official said Monday. The company and the Phu Yen provincial government will hold a ceremony on Tuesday to mark the start of construction of a port to service the refinery. The site for the refinery itself is likely to be released by the local authority at the end of the year, the official said.
