Istanbul—The offensive by the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) that saw Iraq’s second city, Mosul, fall to the insurgents last week, has sent shockwaves through the oil market. But the sweep of Islamist fighters across northern Iraq has not so far affected crude production or exports from Iraqi Kurdistan through Turkey.
