Oil price victim PA Resources staves off liquidation

London-Swedish independent oil and gas producer PA Resources announced Friday that it had staved off a move into liquidation pro- ceedings, induced by the fall in oil prices, after a vote was taken by shareholders, but that it would revisit the question later in the year. Some analysts have said that if the oil price stays at its current low levels for long, PA Resources could head a long list of small- er victims in the industry in the Nordic region.
