Industry groups sue EPA for missing RFS deadlines

Washington-Oil industry and refining trade groups have sued the US for failure to issue the 2014 and 2015 Renewable Fuel Standard volume requirements. In a lawsuit filed Wednesday, the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers and the American Petroleum Institute argued that EPA failed to meet its duties under the Clean Air Act to promulgate the 2014 RFS obligations by November 30, 2013 and the 2015 RFS obligations by November 30, 2014.
