Singapore—Growth in China’s apparent demand for gasoline and naphtha slowed in September, while demand for LPG, fuel oil and jet fuel continued to rise at a blistering pace. Gasoil was the clear loser with demand contracting 7% year on year. Platts calculates apparent demand for individual oil products by adding product output figures by the National Bureau of Statistics and net product imports numbers by the customs department.
