Husky sets early startup for three projects

Calgary—Husky Energy has brought forward by a quarter the startup of three heavy oil projects in Western Canada, which have combined nameplate capacity 24,500 b/d, CEO Asim Ghosh said Friday. The 10,000 b/d Edam East project will now come onstream in second-quarter 2016, followed by the 4,500 b/d Edam West and the 10,000 b/d Vawn projects in the third quarter of that year, he said on an earnings call.
