US biodiesel producers see deals despite weak market

New York—Despite a weak domestic market for their product, US biodiesel makers continue to close deals and garner some financial backing. US producer/marketer Renewable Energy Group announced June 3 it has purchased fellow producer US Biodiesel Group, giving it a planned plant near the Houston Ship Channel and a California storage terminal.
