Russia's Gazprom fully restores gas exports to Europe

Moscow-Gazprom said February 20 it had restored supplies of Russian natural gas to Europe in full, after several European coun- tries reported cuts in supplies in early Febru- ary as freezing weather from Russia to West- ern Europe drove up gas demand. "I am pleased to announce that Gaz- prom has restored in full gas supplies to cover demand of European customers, which soared to extreme heights across the con- tinent in February 2012 due to the unprec- edented cold snap," Gazprom's deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev said in a statement. Medvedev provided no figures.
