EU member states have cleared the European Commission’s proposals, which reflect continued slow EU procedures for renewing approvals. A new expiry date of November 30th 2019 has been set for the herbicide, tritosulfuron. The new date of December 31st 2019 is for: the herbicides, amidosulfuron, bifenox, dicamba, diflubenzuron, diflufenican, fenoxaprop-P, fenpropidin, lenacil, nicosulfuron and picloram; the insecticides/acaricides, clofentezine and pyriproxyfen; and the fungicide, difenoconazole.
