Uptrend in Styrene, PTA and phthalates; Cyclohexanone and mixed Xylene down

The week under review saw prices of cyclohexane, styrene, MEG, DEG, PTA and phthalates ruling higher as compared to the previous week while cyclohexanone and mixed xylene ruled lower. Toluene (RIL) was quoted at Rs. 52 (basic) in bulk. Toluene (BPCL) was a rupee lower at Rs. 51 (basic) in bulk, while for barrels it was available at Rs. 77. Benzene (RIL) was costlier by Rs. 4 at Rs. 65 (basic), while BPCL's benzene was quoted at Rs. 62.
