The scientific analysis of modem structural state constructing of an industry, in particular, machine industry is given. The economical-statistical basis of definition of performance of operation of this sphere of research-and-production activity in Russian Federation is rotined. For the first time in the journal publication the dodge of applying of an electronic system for deriving manufacturing and commercial result ins a machine industry is lighted, usage of the Internet is rotined at mechanization of the registration and automation of treating of the statistical-economical official information in this area of State committee of Russian Federation on a statistician.
