摘要

The mathematical model has been developed on the basis of a combined solution of the system of equations of gas mass transfer in metal, in a subsurface Knudsen layer adjoining the metal and in the arc discharge atmosphere. Modelling of metal evaporation and gas absorption is based on a combined solution of the Idnetic Boltzmann equation for the Knudsen layer and the system of equations of continuum for the ambient atmosphere using numerical methods. The effect on the Idnetics of the absorption process by the gas content of the atmosphere and the temperature of a droplet has been investigated.
