摘要

This paper describes structural and Performance characteristics development of a gapless three-phase variable inductor with a shell-type magnetic core. A variable inductor is a magnetic device having an insulated three-terminal function and electromechanical devices for direct control of an electric power system. High durability and reliability are ensured by a structure of copper and iron. A gapless variable inductor is easy to construct because inductance can provide continuous, high-speed control and space is not needed for electric current warp improvement.
