Plagodis dolabraria in birch forests of Siberia and northern Kazakhstan

The biology of the geometrid Plagodis dolabraria inhabiting birch forests (koloks) of steppe and forest-steppe zones in the Transurals, southern West Siberia and northern Kazakhstan are summarized. This species is present in the summer-autumn groupof butterflies-pests of birch forests. Age differences in larvae, and information on food species and reproduction is given.
