摘要

To support real-time applications such as voice and video in the Internet, the routing mechanism that satisfies quality-of-service (QoS) required by users will be needed. Such mechanism called QoS routing can be realized by Server Based Routing method. The server decides a route for a real-time flow and has all the information on how the network resource is already assigned. However. the server based routing has a scalability problem that a great number of requests for routes can be concentrated on the server. In large scale networks, the processing load on the server will be too high. To reduce the processing load, we propose flow aggregation method. Through our numerical results of computer simulation, we show that the server loads can be reduced.
