Software architecture for automatic generation of CAD tool

摘要

To develop a CAD tool in which the knowledge of domain experts is embedded, it is effective to build a domain-specific model (domain model) and specify a domain-specific specification language based on the model. However, we must develop one generator for each domain, which generates a CAD tool from specifications. We propose a software architecture based on data structures and computation methods used in CAD tools. Our software architecture is suitable not only for an easy development of a generator, but also for integration of multiple domains and connection with a database system.
