摘要

Contactless energy transmission systems are cordless power supply systems that use magnetism, and can be employed to supply personal electronic devices with power. Recently, energy problems have attracted widespread attention, and electric vehicles are being actively developed. As a result, there has been a growing interest in contactless energy transmission, and studies of contactless energy transmission using microwaves,evanescent waves, magnetic resonance, electric resonance,and electromagnetic induction are being conducted.Among these methods, that using electromagnetic induction is currently capable of transmitting the largest amount of power. To apply this technique, we are supplying various devices (electric vehicles, homeelectric appliances, and therapeutic devices) with energy by using electromagnetic induction. In this paper, we discuss various contactless power transmission systems and explain the capability and potential of our applications using electromagnetic induction.
