Chevron shortlists for Angolan pipe

Chevron is prequalifying companies for a new pipeline and risers off the Angolan enclave of Cabinda. Sonangol has asked the US firm to replace around 5km of 16-inch pipe from the KWIP platform to the GIPFox platform. They are just under 20km offshore from the Malongo terminal in water depths ranges from 95ft to 112ft (29m to 34m).
