Compost tea can help to reduce the need for fungicide applications by suppressing disease.With the reduction in the number of pesticide active ingredients over the past few years through legislation changes and other issues, there has been a gradual shift by some growers towards using control products that do not principally use non-organic ingredients such as bio-rationals and compost tea. Brewing tea is not a novel idea but has quickly gained momentum over the past decade with the refining of its ingredients and processes.
