There are currently nine floaters working in the region, which is the same level it has been for the past year, with utilisation at 81% at the time of writing. All of the floaters are in India, as the last floater standing off Myanmar, Maersk Viking, departed the country in April, and it will be a few months before Diamond Offshore semi Ocean Monarch and Japan Drilling semi Hakuryu-5 are able to mobilise into the region. Hakuryu-5 is now scheduled to mobilise to Myanmar in mid-July, at the earliest.
