IEEE Smart Village

We are in this industry to make a difference. The IEEE Power & Energy Society has the privilege of supporting IEEE Smart Village: a global humanitarian effort on a mission to empower lives in remote communities in lasting, sustainable ways through the delivery of energy and technology solutions. Electricity and its access is a driver for development both economically and socially. While we know electricity alone is not sufficient to spur economic growth, it is certainly necessary in advancing better health, sanitation and education.
