Bluestar Dongda to expand low VOC polyols

Zibo, Shandong - ChemChina affiliate Bluestar Dongda plans to build high performance polyeth-er polyol facilities, with 306kT/ year capacity, in its headquarters city of Zibo, Shandong. The project's environmental impact review started in March. Its planned capacity includes 91.5kT/year polyol for high resiliency foam, 61kT/year polyol for flexible foam, and 60kT/year of polymerised polyol. There will also be 51kT/year of polyol for elastomers, 20kT/year specialty polyol, and 22.5kT/year of crosslinkers.
