New Australian Standard for Concrete CP A new Australian Standard (AS 2832.5) for Concrete cathodic protection (CP) was published recently. It specifies requirements for CP of reinforced concrete structures exposed to either an atmospheric, submerged or buried environment. This Standard is more or less like a performance based CP specification for reinforcement in concrete structures. A long awaited wish of the industry for having such a standard is now fulfilled.
