The Thrill of the Last Second

I am not sure how many of the readers do identify as procrastinators. I, for one, try not to procrastinate, but somehow life manages to get things into my carefully planned itinerary so that reaching my designated target on time turns into reaching the target just in time. There is something to be said for the last minute "crunch mode" option. It does not cease to amaze me how much things can be done and written in just the last few precious hours and minutes before the final (also dubbed dead-deadline) deadline approaches. The adrenaline kicks in, the fight or flight response manages to harness the fight part into fuelling the creativity needed for the task at hand.
