Knowing me, knowing you

Earlier this month, I attended, along with palliative care practitioners from all over England, the 17th Annual Worcester Palliative Care Conference, hosted at Worcester university. The theme for this year's conference was maintaining your identity as a patient or staff member, a topic that is not typically the focal point of larger palliative care discussions; so, it was refreshing to attend a conference where the different aspects of identity in the palliative care context were discussed.
