Heather Grant talks to the Managing Director of AW Repair Group, Andrew Walsh, about his latest stunning addition in Nottingham and his vision for the future When I first started writing about bodyshops over 20 years ago, typically they were rather shabby and unwelcoming. Secondhand furniture in the reception (often the owner's old worn out sofa), outdated magazines, and no provision for tea or coffee were commonplace. Fast forward to today and what a difference two decades can make. There are now a number of entrepreneurial bodyshop owners who have invested handsomely in their business and built a new breed of bodyshops that look more like high end dealerships than accident repair facilities.
