Rare Element Resource drills US deposit

RARE ELEMENTS RESOURCE Ltd, a rare earths exploration company, has started drilling to determine the size of its rare earths (RE) resource at its Bear Lodge Project in Wyoming, USA. Drill-hole locations have been identified on the property in north east Wyoming and the tests are expected to expand the historical data made by the Hecla Mining Co. in 1990, which suggested a 3.9m. tonne deposit with 3.8 percent REO. The initial core holes of the drill programme will test a south-east extension of the carbonatite dike system that contains the bulk of the RE mineralisation, and if successful, could expand the size of the resource.
