Export Import Scenario of India in March 2019 Merchandise exports from India showed double-digit growth rate of 11.02% at US$32.55 billion in March 2019 in comparison to US$29.32 billion in March 2018. Major commodity groups showing positive year-on-year growth in exports in March 2019 were organic & inorganic chemicals (16.98%), engineering goods (16.27%), RMG (ready made garments) of all textiles (15.13%), drugs and pharmaceuticals (13.59%) and petroleum products (6.55%).
