EGYPT'S IRON AND STEEL EXPORTS DOWN 29% IN 5 MONTHS

Export Council for Building Materials said that Egypt's exports of iron and steel during the first five months of 2019 decreased by 29% y-o-y to $355 million, compared with $498 million during the same period 2018, according to the Middle East News Agency. He pointed out that iron and steel exports were exported to 57 countries, of which 14 were exported during the first five months of this year with a value of 22.07 million dollars, while the sector was unable to enter 16 markets exported with a value of 36.021 million dollars.
