France's Arkema doubles PEKK capacity at Normandy, announces investment in US

LONDON (ICIS)--Arkema has doubled the capacity of its poly-ether-ketone-ketone (PEKK) production line in Normandy, France and confirmed its intention to invest in a facility at Mobile, Alabama in the US, the French chemical major said on Thursday. The investment will be used to build a "world-scale" PEKK plant, which Arkema expects will come on stream in the latter stages of 2018.
