Determination of the stress and deformations fields along the profile of thread rolled on the rod-type fasteners

Complex of technological investigations for the stresses and deformations field determination along profile of thread rolled on the rod-type steel 35 fasteners is performed. The thread portion was subjected to preliminary deformation hardening according to the reducing scheme. The stress and deformation values in thread profile were defined using taring plot stress-hardness-deformation. Stresses and deformation values in some zones of the thread profile peaks for reduced metal can exceed their values for annealed steel more than 25 %.
