Pilot-industrial works for construction of radial drainage system for quarry protection from underflooding at Lebedinskii mining and concentrating plant

Brief data about existing combined drainage system and about constructing radial drainage system for draining Lebedinskii iron ore deposit (one of the largest all over the world) are presented. Efficiency of usage of radial water scoops, compared with conventional dewatering wells, is estimated. Operating results for newly constructed system are given.
