Results from The Arable Group's 21 trials sites show that winter wheat yields held up well this year, being slightly better on average than 2005. The organisation's lowest-yielding site was at Trerulefoot, Cornwall, where the average yield was 8.3t/ha, and the highest yielding was at Berwick, Northumberland, where 12.6t/ha was recorded.
