Alaska LNG's Environmental Assessment Being Delayed

Environmental assessment processes for the Alaska LNG project (AKLNG), a big LNG production projectoperated by Alaska Gasline Development (AGDC), are being delayed. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission(FERC) notified the revision of schedule for the assessment and decided to extend the completion date by four months.As a result, a final EIS, initially planned in November 8th, 2019, was extended to March 6th, 2020 and the date offinal decision for the project was changed to June 4th from February 6th, 2020.
