Jon Williamson (NZ Irrigation Development Manager) has recently been appointed as NZ Irrigation Development Manager. Jon will focus on coordinating SKM's irrigation development business and existing client relationships. Jon has spent the last ten years as Client Manager for Landcorp Farming Ltd, with projects including the West Coast dairy farm developments and irrigation developments throughout the country, and six years as Client Manager for Wairakei Pastoral Limited's farm conversion project in the Taupo Region. These projects have involved water resource development, RMA consenting, irrigation concept scheme development, cost-benefit analysis, and sustainable land management planning-- key skills that will be required in the new role.
