Roddy Henderson has been pre-occupied with matters arising from leading thenational database programme (climate, water resources). He has also spent sometime on a variety of consulting work for energy companies, and contributing to abid for hydro-electric mapping work in South America. In September he made apresentation on water quantity at the Land and Water Forum's "Water ScienceWorkshop". The Forum is a representative stakeholder group providing advice togovernment on water allocation issues. He has also produced a 'small hydroassessment tool', encapsulating much of the work done by him and Ross Woods onthe hydrology of ungauged catchments. The report attached to the webpage details the operation of the estimation tool, and also includes a summary ofenvironmental matters to be considered, as small hydro developers often have littleexperience in RMA issues.
