US met coal miner Blackhawk's debt accord to help boost output

Major US coking coal producerBlackhawk Mining has reached arestructuring agreement with lenders toinject nearly $100 million additional liquidity in2018 to help boost production.The transaction was widely supported bylenders and will help the company mine andsell more than 14.5 million st of coal in 2018,including nearly 9 million st of metallurgicalcoal, Blackhawk said Sunday.
