Ukrainian Q1 exports of titanium up 11.4% on year

Kyiv—Ukraine’s exports of titanium ore and concentrate increased by 11.4% year on year to 154,600 mt in the first quarter, the state customs service reported Tuesday. In Q1, Ukraine shipped 19% of its exports to Mexico, 15.5% to Russia, 14.4% to Egypt and 51.1% to other countries, the customs service said. Last year, Ukraine shipped the material to the US (22.4%), Egypt (19.4%), the Czech Republic (14%) and other countries (44.2%).
