UK, EU recyclers aim for sideways in settlements on Turkey strength

London—Recyclers in the UK and on the European continent adjusted their sales target in monthly settlements to sideways after the latest strength in the Turkish market, in line with an almost identical dynamic observed in the US market. A large UK mill was heard to be targeting ￡20/mt down on month Monday, with other mills looking to procure material ￡15/mt cheaper –- numbers largely based on Turkey’s weakness two weeks ago, according to some trading sources.
